The mudmat was to be installed as part of subsea expansion scope for Chevron’s Gorgon Gas fields. Once loaded, the mudmat and trailer combination transport envelope was 22.3m (l) x 11m (w) x 6.945 m (h) with overall combination length of 38.99 m. This massive envelope required special transport management planning including night transit which was escorted through the busy industrial area to the port.
