PROJECT OVERVIEW

Westlink was engaged to provide a multimodal logistics solution for structural steel, trusses, chutes and bins from Bangpakong, Thailand to constructions of new conveyors, transfer house, sample station, buffer bin and dump station for Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group (NCIG) export coal terminal on Kooragang Island, Newcastle, Australia.

SCOPE
  • Pre-shipment inspections at fabrication yard in Bangpakong, Thailand
  • Oversized Haulage – from fabrication yard to vessel hook at Laem Chabang, Thailand
  • Multipurpose Vessel (MPP) – Laem Chabang, Thailand to Newcastle, Australia
  • Oversized Haulage – vessel hook or NCIG Stage 2AA project site
  • Construction coordination – coordination with site team to unload trailers into laydown
